So you are taking a Disney Cruise from Port Canaveral and are looking for a hotel close to the port and also some pre and post cruise activities. Our Mouse Chat show this week is all about taking a Disney Cruise and what activities and hotels you should look into.

- Go to Disney Springs and enjoy the dining, entertainment, and shopping if you are staying at Walt Disney World before your cruise and don’t want to use a park ticket.
- Book a hotel by the port in Port Canaveral and enjoy the hotel, the hotel pool or Cape Canaveral.
- We also love to stay at the Hyatt Regency at the ORL airport and just use a transfer to the cruise port.
- You can stay at Walt Disney World before or after your Disney Cruise. It’s about a 45 minute drive between the two. This allows you to enjoy both a Disney Cruise and a Walt Disney World Vacation all in one.
Disney Land and Sea TIP:
If you are going to Walt Disney World and on a Disney Cruise, take your Walt Disney World vacation first. Then after having to pay for your meals at Walt Disney World, you can enjoy the included buffets and relaxing pace of a Disney Cruise.
