Disney Skipper Canteen Restaurant Review

Disney Skipper Canteen Review & Disney NewsSkipper Canteen

Disney Skipper Canteen Review –  Chris went to the Skipper Canteen at the Magic Kingdom.  This is a more upscale or should I say adventurous dining experience than a typical burger and fries theme park restaurant.  Everything was great from the service, dining accor and the food.  Just one dish our group had was not a hit.  The ribs two of our guests had at our table and both did not care for them.  BUT everything else ordered at Skipper Canteen was excellent.

Now Skipper Canteen is not cheap.  Lunch ( 1 main course, and a dessert and tip) was $55 for lunch.  Now lunch and dinner are the same menu, so maybe go for dinner at this price to Skipper Canteen.  FYI: At the time of this review Skipper Canteen was not taking the Disney discount card – Tables in Wonderland.

Dining Reservations at Skipper Canteen – Skipper Canteen will open up Dining Reservations within the next couple of months, but will still take walk up guests.

Lion Guard Return of the Roar

Lion Guard Return of the Roar adventure opens up for kids at Animal Kingdom.  The adventures take kids from place to place in the Animal Kingdom park and it sounds like the kids get to complete tasks along the way sort of like Phineas and Ferb at Epcot.  The kids learn about animal habitats and also conservation too during this self guided adventure.

  1. Regarding the construction of Star Wars land and the re-routing of the train. Tomorrowland at DLR will not be affected by Star Wars land. Star Wars land is going in on the west side of the park, behind Frontierland. Tomorrowland is on the East side of the park.
