Disney group reservations and group bookings.
This week we discuss traveling and booking as a group at Disney World.
We traveled with a group that at times was up to and above 100 people. Some events that were planned like the EPCOT dessert party or the Disney Hollywood Studios Prop Shop Pixie Vacations event breakfast and first ride of the day on Toy Story worked well. Other “informal get together” were difficult to manage.
Getting groups with kids ages 3, 5, 8, 12, 15 etc makes it difficult for the group to be able to all participate in kids that everyone can ride with height restrictions etc. Also getting a large group to the park early in the morning or late at night to help avoid crowds is also difficult. If you are traveling as a group you need have a plan and either everyone in the group needs to follow the set plan for times, rides, dining, or you can split up into smaller groups. We did split up into smaller groups with the kids broken up into age groups. The little kids did Fantasyland rides and the teens hit the roller coasters. The issue we had was trying to all meet up again. When we did manage to all find each other again to try and ride family rides together, parts of each group either had already ridden the suggested attractions or had no interest in riding them.
I think you need to have a set agenda, with times, rides, etc for each day OR split into smaller groups and only meet up for dining at pre-booked reservation times.

Start off the witching hours on Friday the 13th from 8:30 – 9:30 PM for a private viewing area at Disney’s Fantasmic. We have a Private Dessert Party filled with scrumptious desserts for you to enjoy while watching Disney’s Fantasmic. Continue the night with Disney’s Limited Time Magic at Disney Hollywood Studios with a Special Villain treat and the park staying open until the Witching Hour (13th hour 1 AM)
