Disney World with Disabilities

handycapped access at Disney World

Mouse Chat Disney podcast Subscribe now on iTunes.

This week we discuss how guests with different disabilities can go to the happiest place on earth, Disney World. Our special guest on our show is Bob. Bob visited the parks many times with his partner who was on an ECV, an electric scooter. So Bob learned first hand how to get around using Disney transportation, accessing the parks and different attractions and also stayed at some of Disney’s resorts.

We are by no means experts at visiting Disney with someone that has a disability but we wanted to put together a show that went over some basics to hopefully help future guests that need this information. We think Disney accommodates many different guests extremely well so this show scratches the surface as to some things Disney offers to make your visit with someone that has a special need, even more enjoyable.
