Are DVC members EVER offered free dining?? Whether it be free or half price or any dining benefit, it seems members aren’t appreciated enough to give us anything anymore. Years ago, park tickets were included with a DVC reservation. So, for all the annual dues we pay, our big benefit is just being able to get a reservation. Maybe that whopping 10% off at some restaurants. I think that something should be offered when it is offered to the general public.
Hey Joy, Yeah I agree that it would be nice to get some great DVC benefits. Some members spend $20k – $50k I bet on a DVC contract and then $1,000 – $3,000+ a year in dues. So I am sure it’s difficult when Disney comes out with a great vacation offer for everyone else. Yeah Free Dining requires the minimum room stay and minimum tickets required to get the offer, so not really a good deal of DVC or Annual Passholders. At least if you are an annual pass holder you can just not use your tickets that you have to buy with the Disney Free Dining Package and then apply those tickets to your next Annual Pass Purchase.
