Disney World Pools Reviewed
Each Walt Disney World Resort has a pool and extras that guests love to make part of their Disney vacation.
We are going to cover the Disney pools by Dsiney Resort type (Value, Moderate and Deluxe) so you can be sure to book the Disney resort that is just right for your family.
Our top Disney Value Resort Pool is Art of Animation.
Disney’s Art of Animation has several very unique and amazingly themed pools. The main pool right by the food court has a Nemo Theme. It is a salt water pool so no chlorine smell. It also has under water music.
There is even a nice small pool bar at Art of Animation. Each themed area has something great for the family too. The “Cars” section has a perfect pool area with Cozy Cone Motel cabana cones around the pool that are first come first serve. This is a nice smaller pool area to relax and watch the kids.
Top Disney Moderate Pool
This is difficult. We love pretty much all the moderate Disney resort pools, but our vote goes to Disney Coronado Springs. The Coronado Springs pool is massive and has a Mayan theme. The water slide is one if not the longest moderate slide, volleyball court, bar, game room and so much energy with pool side activities.
The Best Disney Pool in the Deluxe Resort category
There are so many amazing Deluxe Resort Pool at Walt Disney World. The best pool still goes to the Beach club / Yacht club resorts at Wat Disney World. It has sand bottoms and a shallow beach area for kids to play in the sand. There is a small lazy river and also a shipwreck water slide. The pool is a must see. Now Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kadani Village also have wonderful pools. Disney Kadani Village has a pool that is almost a mini water park.
Disney Pool Hopping
If you have DVC and staying on DVC points you can pool hop to other Disney pools. Of course there are black out dates so check before you go.
