What you need to see at Disney World this holiday season
These are our top Walt Disney World Holiday picks for your Disney World vacation this November and December.
Disney Hollywood Studios will not disappoint this holiday season. Yes, gone are the Osborne Lights, but Sunset Blvd is all decked out for the holidays with a 1950s decor and a festival show on the Tower of Terror Hollywood hotel. Hey, it even snows and it’s hard to beat 80 degrees and snowing.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom is a not to miss special event. We cover the Magic Kingdom party in detail in our podcast posted last week here on Mouse Chat, so be sure to listen to our full detailed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party show.
EPCOT’s Candle Light Processional is taking place and all have celebrity narrators. This event starts Nov., 24. The music is beautiful and the choir is fantastic. You can book the dining package to get seating. Breakfast starts around $48 a person at Garden Grill. Lowest Priced dinner option is the German Beer Garden. Be sure to check your meal time and specific show time, the show times are 5 PM 6:45 and 8:15 PM every night. There are still packages available and we recommend Pixie Vacations for booking the Candle Light Processional at EPCOT call 678-815-1584.
EPCOT also has several holiday happenings. Each World Showcase country has food and beverage paired to the holidays and also events specific to that countries holiday celebrations. There is also a Chip n Dale scavenger hunt at EPCOT to keep the kids entertained as you tour World Showcase. There is also a holiday version of Epcot’s Illuminations night time show.
Disney Springs has Christmas events going all all holiday season long. Shopping, Christmas Trees, Entertainments and of course all sorts of special holiday food items. Hey Santa is even having breakfast some mornings at T-Rex.
