Disney Kidani Village Resort Review

Mouse Chat Disney Radio – A Disney Radio Show by Disney Fans for Fans

Kidani Village Review – We booked a one bedroom and also a three bedroom grand villa at Disney’s Kidani Village.  All of us stayed for a week at Kidani and finally this week we have time to give our review. I wont give away the room reviews here, listen to this weeks Mouse Chat radio show for all the details.  We also spent a day at the pool.  WOW is that amazing.  TWO hot tubs, water kids play area, zero entry pool, pool bar, restrooms, several slides and water slides all in a savanna setting.  You can even see some animals by the firepit.  What an amazing area.  You can also go to Jambo house and use the pool there.

The only issue we had with Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kidani is how far you have to walk to get to your room.  Now at Kidani if you have a car you can park in the parking garage and go right down to your car from one of several elevators.
Of course the resort is laid out so you can see the animals on the savanna, so during your long walk to and from your room you can see some amazing animals.

Disney Cruise Line New Smoking Rooms –

Disney Cruise line has new smoking locations and rules.
Some areas have certain times you can smoke and some areas are dedicated for smoking.
There is smoking by the adult clubs on the Fantasy and the Dream, just outside.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Lauren booked a Cars Family Suite at the Art of Animation.  For a large family or even a small family that wants room these rooms, resort, pool, etc are all great.  Take a swim in the Nemo salt water pool that has music under the water.  The castmembers were very nice and the resort is spotless.  Also the resort is a value resort but has inside corridors which I think is much nicer than a motel setup with doors that open to the outside.

The Art of Animation food court also gets rave reviews from Lauren.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort Tips –  We cover some booking tips that will help you out get a quite room for your stay.  Also Chef Mickey’s, Is it the best Character Meal for your vacation?

EPCOT – Germany Pavilion – Biergarten Restaurant Review-
Ok, you must listen to our review of the Germany Biergarten Restaurant before you book a reservation at this EPCOT restaurant!  If you have kids you really need to listen to our review and consider the cost vs value.

EPCOT – France Pavilion Expanded food area.  If you have not been back in France in the last year, take a look.  There is an ice cream shop and a very large sandwich and pastery shop with exquisite desserts.

EPCOT – Norway Pavilion Princesses Breakfast.  Lisa, Chris, Steve and their kids went to Norway for the Princess breakfast.  Again it comes down to the price.  If you have kids they will be so excited to see the characters and will not eat anything.  We paid $22+ for Brooke who is 3 and she had three strawberries for her breakfast.  We paid $160.00 for two adults and a 3 and 8 year old for Breakfast.  $160.00!!!  Let us know what you think on our Facebook Page.  Is this worth it for your family on your Disney Vacation?  Here is our review.

  1. Let me get this straight… you want people to go to Disney World, yet you hate EVERYTHING about it. Enough with the negativity! Can you find something nice to say about “the most magical place on earth?” Go back and listen to this podcast and count the positive and negative comments. If your purpose is to get people to visit DW, then you miss the mark badly.

    • Good Point Nick. I think we need to take a look at our upcoming reviews and make sure we cover both sides better.
