Hi, and welcome to Bounce Chat. I'm Lisa, and joining me, I've got Caitlin. Brenda, Sharpie, and Steve. Hello, Mouse Chatters. Now, we're the Mouse Chatters. Oh, hello, Mouse listeners. He'll get it eventually, my power. I can't. Howdy folks, how's it going? Hey, y'all. Hi, friends. We're trying. We're really trying. We just got back in our room. Steve, train Rexis every time. We just got back from our great Valentine's Day date. Did you have fun?
It was. It was. It was on a whole other show. You can set it to get, if you do it next year. Yeah, because Steve's plan is waiting before the pre-planning. We just got back from a Disney cruise. Lisa got back from a Disney cruise. I did. Two separate Disney cruises. Yes, I waved from the balcony. Did you guys see each other? Yes. Yes. We went totally different directions. Brenda. No worries. We're just going. We're in. Yes, we did. Oh, yes, we did.
All right. We're six for you guys on. I was on the dream. I did a four night. And I was on the magic. I don't have five nights. Yeah, I would love to be back on the magic or the way. Out of Galveston, right? Yes, right, Brenda. Yep. Yeah. Yes, and you guys were out of Port Canaveral. No, y'all were out of Port Lauderdale. We went out of the new Disney terminal in Lauderdale. Oh, it's sad, like. I'm excited to hear about it. So it's good. It's a port or a terminal.
And it's very much like Canaveral and many regards. Yeah. But it does have Disney stuff on the walls. But it's not like some of these cruise terminals back in the day or just like they're just multi-function. This one is pretty industrial. That's what's not. They may have some more changes in store. Oh, it's not Port Canaveral where it's like. No, can I have a little bit? Yeah, can I have a little bit of a beautiful? Can I have a little bit of an isus cruise terminals in existence?
I mean, it's purpose built. And it's not industrial. Yeah. I must say though, that's a good one. Like Cape Liberty in New Jersey is very industrial. Yeah. I would say that we didn't spend a lot of time in the terminal at all because they were so quick with the whole boarding process. Okay. It was like Virgin like some of them have their own dedicated really nice terminals like the Virgin one. I thought was nice. Yeah. Disney cruise. Holding tables.
I'm Royal Caribbean's terminal in Port Canaveral is very nice too. Yeah. I love the art inside that terminal. It's so cool. Royal Caribbean's new terminal here in Galveston is fantastic. I mean, multi-million dollar facility. It's beautiful. So you know in Canaveral how you've got that, you know, the ear walkway entrance. Yeah. They have one of those, but it's it's a lot smaller. It's not as grandiose. That's the second time we use that word tonight.
Smaller. Because no, Disney's terminal at Port Canaveral like even like from the Tarazu floors to the art, it is just such a gorgeous purpose built Disney terminal. That one. I just stay there. I'm not eating it on the cruise. I'm getting on the ship. Sorry. I'll be doing that. But it I did make note. I was mindful of the fact that I was in a new Disney terminal and we took shared transportation to get there and I went with Mike and Cindy. And first of all, you want to hear the lift story or not?
No. Because we have two cruise lines to go through. But it was not a good experience. So you got to the cruise terminal. We get there and they drop you off and it's it's very industrial at that point. And then they kind of heard you over to the entrance. And once you get in, it's it's a nice, clean, good terminal, but not not the warm fuzzies and the Disney well, you know, like when you're in can. So they haven't like this is not a purpose built Disney.
Well, there are a couple of features, but all right. So they have it. All right. That makes sense. But that's okay. I'm hoping they work. All right. So tell me more about I don't know. Is there anything new different first timer tips? What do you think? For me? I guess. Don't bring liquor. You can bring beer and you can bring wine, but you cannot bring liquor. Did someone in the group try to do that? Yeah, not know. Because a lot of them. So most I was like 11 out of 12.
I guess it'd be 10 out of 12 because I was one of them had not been on a Disney cruise before. Some of them have been on a cruise before and some of them have never been out of the country. So I had some really new newbies that got to experience this. So they did they they were you guys went to Nassar and cast away? Yes, we did. Yeah, fun. It was fun. Was everyone like so excited about castaway cake? The ones that they that had never been? Yes. And I bet.
So this was really cool. There were this was a plus one event, which means that the agents that were on this could bring a guest. Some brought a child, some brought a friend, some brought a spouse. There were two ladies that brought spouses, husbands that swore up and down. They would never set foot on a Disney ship because it's a Disney cruise with kids and childish stuff and and ducks and mice and stuff like that. So they're like no. And at dinner the first night, both of those gentlemen are like, I am blown away.
They were grinning ear to ear the like the food, the cleanliness, the decor, the everything, the flow, the organization. And. Oh, and then at that point we had seen one show we saw the golden miggies and phenomenal show. And it was just so heartwarming to hear them talk about less than, you know, 10 hours on the ship. And they're in love. And I do want to point out that every single agent that went with me booked a return cruise. Don't. Awesome. Yeah.
So they're in love with the product. They're like, I can't wait to go again. When do we go again? And don't forget, you need to make sure that you do. You can do this on your app now that you still have a desk. But you can book your future cruise. And it's just a placeholder. You don't need to know what ship, what port, what date. You don't need to know anything except that you will be going on that cruise. And you get a 10% discount. How awesome is that?
That's nice. And if you do a seven night, don't you get to reduce the deposit? Yes. Typically. Yeah. So it's a win win plus. I don't want to put this out there, but it is fully refundable. And you have up to two years to sail. Nice. The whole thing. And you can also select on the app if you want to use your same travel agent. It'll ask you right there. Do you want to use the same agent that booked you on this cruise? You say, yeah. Of course you think you were with ship where you aren't again?
I was on the dream. OK. So you were on a mid, you were not the smaller ship. No, it's what is now considered a middle of the road, middle of the road. Yeah, it's a big, it's still a big, what, 4,000 passenger, 4,500 passenger ship or something. So it's a decent size. But I feel like it's a good size. It's not like icon, which we'll have to do a show on as well because you just got back from that. Yeah, I did that the week before. Royal Caribbean's icon, which is the largest ship in the world until they come out with
the next largest ship after this one. But yeah, so I think it's a good size ship. It is. Well, it's quite manageable. Yeah. OK. So it sounds like you were with mostly adults. Did you guys do the Sorority Bay? Yes, most people with adults only. There were two moms, pixie moms that went that did bring a child. And so that worked out well. And the adults did go to Sorority Bay and they checked everything out, whether it was the shops or we had agents that did the bike rentals and just rode bikes for a couple
hours, which is always kind of a hidden gem, I think. Yeah. Pretty flat island, it's a most part. And it's an easy ride. And you get to go wherever you want. Kind of, mostly. Yeah. So and there's an old airplane strip that you can ride along. Yeah. Which is yeah. Well, last week he was great. We saw Beauty and the Beast. Again, their shows are just. It doesn't help that I went with one of the, we had a rough day at sea. And some of the agents did get a little sick and queasy.
So not everyone made it to the show, but one of the guests really wanted to see Beauty and the Beast shout out to Anna. And she loves Mrs. Potts like had Mrs. Potts earrings and a purse and a little hat. Aw, cute. She was Mrs. Potts. And so I, I went with her. She was my date for the night. And she was just falling. She's like, Oh my God, look at that. And look at that. And she was just so impressed. That's just me. And then I was next to her. I was almost next to her during.
Believe. And that's a tear jerker. If you let it be, otherwise you're just having fun, but she's very sentimental. And we, I just enjoyed all the shows. Oh, so good. They are the best. They are. What shows did you have Brenda? We had the first night we had twice charmed. Have you seen that one? Mm hmm. That one is they should I give it away or no? Should I say? Don't give anything away, but that's hard. I'll be on the magic this fall. So I don't want to give it away then.
It's a Cinderella story. Okay. I'll just say that and then leave that. My favorite princess. So no, I'm not saying anymore. I'm zipped. I'm zipped. And tangled the musical was another one that's awesome on the ship. I we we went to Cozamellen Progresso on the way to Cozamell. We had like 47 mile an hour winds and we were rocking. We rocked till we got to Cozamellen. And then we rocked when we went from Cozamellen around to Progresso. Then on the way back, it was perfect.
But the second night, which is when tangled the musical was on, it was very rocky in the auditorium. So we left there and went to the room and I turned the channel on for and watched it from the room. Because I couldn't sit. I couldn't. Yeah, I needed to lay down. But I still like that. I liked that they have the option that you can watch it from your room while it's live. You can't be in there for any reason. So I did that that night, but it was the show's great.
And they have the new Rapunzel Rapunzel's Royal Table on the ship that is new since the last time I sailed on the magic and it was great too with the show and it was really good. Fun. They're so good. They are so good. So good. What was your favorite thing to eat on the ship? Okay, I hit a nerve. We went to Lou Mayor. That was our I think that was yes, that was our second night because our first night we were at Rapunzel's we were at Lou Lou Mayor the second night.
And never mind the food. They had a dessert called the opera. If you had it, they soaked that cake in coffee. It's the most. I mean, I'm telling you, I don't get a chance to read it home and I love to read. And so the only time I ever get to read is on the cruise. And the hilarious thing was we had this opera dessert that we were just in love with. The next day I was reading my book, which was the Paris library. And in it, she was talking about a dessert her mother used to make that was called an opera.
It literally described the dessert before. It was crazy. Yeah. Yeah. It was the best thing I had on the ship. It was I've never had a dessert like that before. So good. So good. So good. What was your favorite thing to eat on the ship, Lisa? Okay, this is probably food. Yes. And this is going to sound ridiculous. Ended up leaving Castaway key, went back to the ship, got a bite to eat at Cabana's and got a grilled chicken breast. And this is so dorky, but it was fresh, juicy tender season just right.
You know, you asked me my favorite food that popped right in. And it was the stinking, you know, chicken breast. Because a lot of chicken breast is dry. That's why a lot of times I stick to thighs and recipes that call for breasts because they're just too dry. Yeah. And you got a moisture and that is it was so good. They have really good dining too. Like, oh, yeah. Like I said, that's just what it's probably not the best thing that I had, but that's
popped into my head. Yeah, they have a lot of really good dining. Yeah. Oh, and you don't have to pay. I feel like you don't have to pay extra. Although I do love hollows like reasonable for extra amount of money. Yeah, it's $50. Yeah. And it's a great deal. It's a four course meal. You get choices and that includes a nice delay and a chocolate souffle. Yeah. Oh, that's so delicious. So we're going to Paulo for brunch. They have equally. Yeah, it's so good too.
That's so good. Yeah, brunch is amazing. So I love that restaurant so much. Our dog's name is Paulo. Oh, my God. Oh, nice. You're adorable. That's cute. Some people say Paulo. We say Paulo. Our cat's name is chicken breast. Guys. Oh, gosh. That's he's so proud of himself. He's just in your giggling trucking to himself. So proud. You know, they had really good food in the cabana. So it is not like a cred like buffet thing. It is really good food. I always like their breakfast there too.
Yeah, they have really good stuff. It's not, you know, some other cruise lines I will not mention have yet. But the celebrity cruises their buffet area is like awesome too. So many selections and everything. But Disney really does it right. I can tell you one of my favorite things to do on a ship that has the buffet at the back all the way aft is without door dining. I love to do breakfast out. I like that's one of my favorite things in the world to do.
Nice. Yeah. Cool. Breakfast with the view. Thanks. And such a view. When you've got the wake behind you. Oh my gosh, it's just so beautiful. Yeah. Trying to think the shows, of course, wonderful. I did bring two popcorn buckets with me from Walt Disney World and got those refilled for the shows because you can refill for a dollar. Girl, you are prepared. Well, I figured I'd have friends. It's like a Steve move. That's good. Don't. Don't. Don't. That is a Steve.
It seems like a young person. Yeah. But that's what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to bring up a good job. All right. I had probably. I had probably. Maybe so proud of it. Yeah. So I probably had six, I'll say six, maybe five ice cream cones. Oh, they're so good. And, but I only put like half an inch to an inch of ice cream on like that actually pokes up. It was a waste. You should have just stacked it. No, but. Stacked it up, please. Because I went single on this.
I was a single room. And a lot of other. Well, everyone else was paired up. I did have some time where I was alone. And I stopped and I got some lunch at Cabana's. Not the yummy chicken, but a different day. And. And I took a table right across from the ice cream just because that's where I sat. And it's self service, soft serve. And they have two, four, six. Well, they have three stations. And I guess three like chocolate, vanilla and then a swirl in the middle.
So you have lots of options. And I have to tell you that boys between the age of six and nine are the funniest thing at that. Um, they are. It is. I bet that was some good people watching. That was awesome. Between like human and animal. I mean, it is. That's funny. Coming from a dad of three boys. Yes. Yeah. And so the, what the first kid that I saw was, um, he was on his tippy toe, leaning in. He's got one hand over his head, holding the, um, the leather.
The other hand was trying to catch what was coming out, catch the ice cream. And so that's hilarious. He was so proud of the job that he did creating this ice cream cone that looked like. Good luck. It was a masterpiece. Oh, you make your own now. Two to eat. Right. On the wish, they've taken that, that privilege away from you and they make the ice cream for you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. On the dream and the older ships. Yeah. You go to ice cream. Ice cream.
It's Mike was out skiing. Yeah. Yeah. And then I also get my cast away key too. They have a machine. Yeah. So that's true. It's only room. The chocolate chip cookies from cookies too. Yeah. And make an ice cream cookie sandwich. Oh, that's a, oh, that's a pro tip. And you can do what, butch and I may or may not have done on this cruise. And that is order your warm chocolate chip cookies from room service and a Mickey bar and maybe or maybe not make an ice cream sandwich with those and even an 11 o'clock.
Oh, that's even better pro tip. Wow. I'm picking up strong may have up there. I think there may be a may have in there. Yeah. This is for my chocolate. For my, oh, my god. It was so good. I never would do that at home, but you're not at home when you're in Disney or I'm at Disney cruise. You're supposed to do things that are special. Yeah. Well, the second boy, I just want to tell you about the second boy. I didn't catch him in his initiation of this.
But when I looked, he was sitting on the counter because he was so small. He couldn't, he climbed up there and he had two hands full of ice cream, two cones, one in each hand and he was up there. And of course it was messy because he did the catch game. Oh, my gosh. And then he's going to jump down and of course it's wet below him. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is not going to be good. Should I stop him? Oh, no. Let's watch. No. And he jumps. And you should at least offer to hold his cones.
Oh, okay. We're so messy. Good enough. He was too quick. So he jumped down and of course he's got ice cream that kind of goes over the side. And when he jumped, the the thud made the ice cream go off the cone and down his hands. And it was just so, and he didn't lynch. He was so proud. He's like, look what I've got. And he went to go share with whomever. It was the best. That's my job. That is so cute. People watching right by the, by the ice cream.
It would. That is awesome. Yeah, see on the woods stand there and watch me like like a, like a Dairy Queen pro just. Yes. Yeah. That's a little loop on top. Yes. And memories will never leave those kids minds. Okay. So Sharpie, there was maybe a 13 or 14 year old boy that was so proud of him. One of the cone he made. It was perfect. Yes. So it was so fun watching. He was making the most of his vacation. Yes, 100%. It is an art to try to get that cone just right.
Yeah. Yeah. You know, it can't lean to one side. Yeah. You've got to get the right wrist action going there a little. And you can take a photo right when you're done if you can just run it. And I told everyone you got to try the strawberry banana because that's so good. My favorite. Oh, it is. It is green saver. I do. That's the phone screen saver. Let's try a rib banana. Yeah. So you got to take it for a swirl. Yes. Any other highlights, Brenda? Well, I think we should talk about the ridiculously awesome consistently fabulous
weight staff on the Disney cruises. I mean, they are the best. The service is the best on Disney cruises. I don't care. So most cruise lines you only have your one name dining room. Yeah. But with Disney cruise line, you have the rotational dining and without fail, they nail service. They have the evening even in a different venue every night. Every time it's remarkable. Yeah. Yeah. Remember we were at a different table and those two people remembered our name, the whole
cruise and we were with them one night only. And they still call us by name the whole time even though we were sitting at a different section. Wow. I mean, they're just fabulous. Yeah. They were really wide. Are you in a different section? What happened was when I booked the cruise, only late dining was available, but like I stopped eating at 6.30 on a regular basis. So eating at 8.15 at night was like, so I was on the wait list. We could not get.
We never did get early dining. But once we were on the ship, even though we went to the late dining, they did get us into the early dining. So from then on, we were in the early dining. Thank God. So it makes it a difference. It just wants to switch. Yeah. Traditional cruises from way back when one of the best parts was you had the same weight staff every night, but you used to just eat in the same dining room every night. There was just like one main dining room on right cruise ships.
But it was one of the things that everybody loved because like they knew your names and they took your drink order and then whatever you ordered the first night, they always brought it like every other night. Or if you had like appetizers, you loved the first night, they always brought them every night. So it was always that was the best part. And then so Disney was like, how do we take that concept, but then give them a different dining room. So there's different experiences every night.
But then how do you keep the same weight staff? So they came up with this idea where they rotate with you. So you always had the same waiter and head waiter and assistant waiter. They follow you from dining room to dining room. So it's like the best of both worlds. Yeah, they're great. They are just top notch. Yeah, if you have little kids too, then they are phenomenal because they know their kids names and they're like cutting up their steak. Like you're trying to do things and they're like cutting up the steak for them and they're
getting catch up for them. And then one of them falls asleep and they pull two chairs together and they get like five table claws and they make like a little fork for them and they're like sleeping as we, when you have kids, they did all that for our kids. They go way above and beyond. They do little magic tricks and puzzles. They got us a couple of magic. They make little origami things. Yeah, it's amazing. Yeah, little like mine puzzles and stuff like that.
Yeah. Yeah, they're awesome. So great stuff. You just, so I had a small little Disney cruise line aha moment. So I, I did have to work during the cruise because it doesn't go away when you leave the country. So I was in my cabin for a while and I was in the zone and then I stepped out of my cabin and I heard the very light, very fun, very bouncy Disney music. And it just, it hits you and you're like, oh yeah, I'm on a Disney cruise. Yeah, it is the best.
And you know, we had the magnets on the doors and I had a great attempt. And I just, everything on this was okay. Except for this, I was talking about those little boys. There was a kid. Oh, he was not on my. Oh, this. So I got on the elevator and I was heading up and I pushed my floor button and he just blatantly looks at his mom and he's probably seven or eight years old. And he says, she pushed the button, my job to push the buttons. And I'm like, and she's explaining, I thought he was going to stomp on my foot.
And she's like, well, she needs to, you know, pick her floor. Well, she could have told me what it was. I would have pushed the button. And I'm like, and I didn't smile. It was, it was kind of out of character for me because normally I'd be like accommodating, but I wasn't. I am so sorry, little kid, but I was not. And I just stood there looking straight forward, ignoring him. And he was just such a little booger butt. You should have looked at him and said, Oh, you pushed my buttons.
You pushed my buttons. Yes. Or you should have said it. It's my turn. Yeah. You pushed the last button. This is my turn. Mm hmm. Oh, I was kind of. We had one of the little kids that, but he was little. He was not seven or eight. He was like three. And he got on the elevator with us. It was just butcher me. And then he got on with his mom and dad and they were like, they were from another country. They weren't speaking English, but I don't know exactly where they were from.
But he pushed like every floor between. Oh, no. You know, but I mean, he was little. We don't. Yeah. So you took the scene of ground. You stopped it. Yeah. I mean, it's like he, you know, they got they reprimanded him though, even though he was little bitty about what he had done. We didn't say a word. It was, you know, but those things happen when you're with kids, but that. that thing we sit down with. God, I did not. It. That was just an. Oh my gosh.
I think they fixed that on the wish. I assume they fixed it by now. I don't know, but we did have a little girl that really wanted to push all the buttons. And her mom was doing her best to keep her octopus paws off of the buttons. It's so tempting. No touchy touchy. It is so tempting. Yeah, there is no touchy touchy. It is fun. Oh, touchy touchy. All right. Anything else. I don't know. It's been. Did you do any of the water slidey things? You have the, you had the, the aqua dunk, right?
We had the duck. You had the duck, not the dung. Wait. We had the duck. We had the duck. I was have to think about those. Okay. You had the aqua duck. The dunk is on the fantasy. Is it. Yes. Okay. We definitely done one time. I didn't do it this time. Did you do it this time, Lisa? Did anybody do it? We had most people do it. Yeah. I did not. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. We all dressed up for pirate night. I, I, I dressed up. I don't think I got a picture.
I should have shared. Fireworks. Yeah. We saw the fireworks. Fireworks. I see. I want fun. And we did run into a bride and groom. They got married that day. So nice. And excuse me, the, the little coink eating here is that the groom works at Disneyland Resort. And he helps out with the theatrical lighting and the technical stuff with rolled of magic. No, we're all the color. No, the color. Color. Color. Yeah. That's nice. That's so cool. Yeah. So it was, it was really cool.
Talking with them for 30, 40 minutes. And their wedding party ends up one of our agents. Actually, Anna, remember the plus one, she grew up in England, like 10 minutes from this guy. Oh, my God. That little sad. Yeah. The little small world connection. Small world. Yeah. After all. Yep. Yeah. But fantastic. Um, I, I, I don't think, oh, and then because we did have a large group of uh, we had to arrange for dining to be either all together. We, we had a couple of tables that ended up being pushed together.
And they were so accommodating. And we ended up all pretty much together. And it was so great. It was so great. And they included our, our, um, our BDM with Disney and got all of us together. It was, they just tried so hard. I mean, they really don't. They're not the no company. They're the yes company. And that's what I have always loved about Disney. They, if they could no matter the answer to any question, they want to say yes, they will try everything.
And just like our head waiter, Alex, that got us on early dining, I mean, he tried, he really worked on it. He worked, you know, we really, we tipped him a lot. But, um, you know, they're just, they're fabulous. I did miss on an animator's palette. I do miss on the shorter ceilings. Cause we were on the five night. And I love animators palette when you draw the character and then they dance on the wall. Yeah. Um, and they don't do that on the five night.
They do it on the seven night, which is, you know, well, we usually go on. But I miss that because that's, I'd love to see all that. But the show in there still is awesome. Alex, you know, black and white and then goes to color. But I like the one where everybody draws their character. Yeah. Um, so speaking of animators palette, um, because we were on a short cruise, we had only the, the crush entertainment and not the actual animation, like you have on the seven night.
Yep. And, uh, so usually crush has no problem. And he'll interact and hey, you know, you with the, whatever. And he was trying to get the attention of this one lady that was in grossed in her phone and she, you know, hey, you dude with, you know, this and with that. And you know, finally, I stood up from the table and I'm like, excuse me, the turtle's talking to you. And she went back to her phone. I'm like, no, crush is talking to you. And I never in my life have seen crush ignored.
He tried to work that room twice. He literally went to the other side of the room. You can't see me, but I'm motioning. And he went to the other side of the room where someone else ignored him and they didn't catch on that he was talking to them. Oh my gosh. You know, yeah. And I tried. I'm like, look, this is like, you've been selected. You're the chosen one. Exactly. Oh, yeah. But yeah, it was bad. It was really bad, but are you not talking to the turtle?
Yeah. The turtle chose you. I mean, to be chosen is special and y'all missing it. And somewhere your family's missing seeing you. Yeah. Yeah. So it was, you know, little things that just stood out as different and. Well, not story worthy, but I brought it up anyway.
I did not get to do the midship detective agency. I even know I promised one of the little four year old guests that we had that I would do it. We ran out of time, but we said we'd do it on the next cruise. It's so much fun. Oh, yeah. Um, I'm just grinning ear from year because it was so it's, it's just stupid magic. Magical. It gets me every single time. Yeah. There's nothing like it. People don't understand if they have it done it yet. Yeah. Just like the two gentlemen that you were talking about, Lisa, I feel like a lot of people have
that reaction. Like, oh, I don't want to do a cruise or I don't Disney cruise is just for kids. And then the second they experience it. They're like, wow, worth every penny. Yes. Can't wait to do it again. Like this is for adults or families or. Yeah. Multi generations kind of like your family, Brenda. Um, yeah. I love that those two guys that were in your group changed their mind. Yeah, that's great. We hung out of the cove cafe to we had our coffees.
I had like some kind of, you know, you know, you're a little bit of a caramel coffee and don't you have like the peppermint look at mine and yeah, I got to read my book and we just chilled in the cove. I just, the adult areas are nice to, you know, go to and relax in and it's just great. I'm the problem. You want to be back on it. I'm great. Brenda, you just got off. I know. So great. But you know, I turned in my little card at night and hang it on my door and
have coffee delivered to me in the morning here. It's just not the same.
You mean, which isn't happening with that? No. Actually, because that's our wake up call on the ship. We always hang our little card outside. And then when we get a knock on the door in the morning, that's our wake up call with our coffee right there and our waters and here he gets up before me, but he never brings me coffee. Just have to get up and fix it. Well, he fixes my cup, but I have to pour it myself. I mean, really good. He fixes just up like,
like, pre-sugar is pre cream or just the cup. He does. Yeah, he does my, my almond creamer and my Stevia's and then I pour the coffee when I go. Okay. So that's as much as he can. That is as much as he can. And he's giving you with the option of fresh coffee. Yes. Hot, fresh coffee, not something that's been sitting. So he gets points in my book for that. Yes, he gets points, although he could pour it and bring it to you. But he'd have to wake me up and he probably values his life.
Yeah. No one wants to do that.
All right. So I think that's going to wrap it up. We still need to plan some kind of mouse chat at sea. That would be a bad one. Ah, that would be fab. Yeah. It would be possible. I felt this to, you all have to give you the treasure. Oh, Caitlin. That's a great idea. Okay. So I am going to go ahead and wrap up the show. Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best Disney Cruise Line tips?
Book Palo and Remy dining at the earliest window possible, get off the ship first on Castaway Cay to claim a family beach spot, use the Disney Navigator app all week, bring a refillable water bottle, skip the big character photo lines in favor of the sail-away party, and book your port excursions direct or through Pixie Vacations rather than on board (often cheaper).
When should I book Palo and Remy on Disney Cruise?
Palo and Remy reservations open based on Castaway Club status — Pearl and Platinum members book 123 days before sailing, Gold at 105, Silver at 90, and first-time cruisers at 75 days. They fill up fast, so log in right at midnight on your eligible day. Your travel agent can remind you of your exact booking window.
How do I claim the best Castaway Cay beach spot?
Get off the ship as soon as it opens — usually right at 9am on Castaway Cay day. Walk (don't wait for the tram) to the Family Beach, grab umbrellas and chairs, and set up closer to the main swim area. Adults can head to Serenity Bay for the quieter adult-only beach. Bring your own reef-safe sunscreen — it's cheaper than buying on ship.
What should I pack for a Disney cruise?
Pack: a refillable water bottle, reef-safe sunscreen, magnetic hooks for the cabin doors, a lanyard for your Key to the World card, a power strip WITHOUT surge protection (Disney bans surge protectors), at least one formal night outfit if you want to dine at Palo, and waterproof bags for Castaway Cay beach day.
Is a Disney cruise worth the money?
For Disney fans and families with kids, yes. The included dining at 3 rotational restaurants, top kids clubs, Castaway Cay, and theming are hard to match on other cruise lines. If you're not a Disney fan, Royal Caribbean or Celebrity often offer similar amenities for less. Pixie Vacations can compare cruises head-to-head if you're deciding between lines.
