Extra Fastpasses and Childcare updates at Disney World

If you book a Concierge level AKA Club Level, room at Walt Disney World you could be getting some extra magic.  More Fastpasses will be available for you to purchase as part of your stay which allows you to skip the line at the selected park attractions.  This was introduced over the weekend as a test program at Disney World.

All Disney World guest get free fastpasses as part of your park admission.  Fastpasses allow you to prebook certain attractions at the parks so you can get in the fastpass line and have a shorter wait time.  With the pilot program club level guest can not buy three additional fastpasses for $50 a day per guest.  A three day minimum purchase is required which brings your minum cost up to $150 a person for the extra Disney Fastpasses.

A little quick math on a family of four $600 extra for three days of extra fastpasses.

Universal Studios has the Express Pass which you can buy or get as part of your stay if you stay at one of the three deluxe level Universal Orlando Resorts, so paying extra for shorter lines is not a new thing.

Would you purchase these extra fastpasses on your next Disney World vacation?
