The new Treasure Beach village at Beaches Turks & Caicos is officially open — and Steve Griswold just spent four nights there to give you the full, honest scoop. On this week’s Mouse Chat podcast, Steve shares his firsthand review of Treasure Beach, rating everything from the rooms and restaurants to the beach access and overall value. If you’re dreaming of an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation and wondering whether this new village is worth the upgrade, this episode is exactly what you need to hear before you book.
What We Cover This Week
Beaches Turks & Caicos has long been considered one of the best all-inclusive family resorts in the Caribbean, sitting right on the stunning Grace Bay Beach — consistently rated one of the world’s most beautiful stretches of sand. The resort has always been divided into distinct “villages,” each with its own architecture, vibe, and room categories. Treasure Beach is the newest of those villages, and Steve was one of the first guests to experience it in full. He walks us through what makes Treasure Beach different from the resort’s existing Caribbean, Italian, Key West, and French villages, and whether the new digs live up to the hype.
One of the biggest questions Steve answers on the podcast is whether Treasure Beach justifies a potential price premium over the rest of the resort. He covers the room categories available in the new village, the quality of the furnishings and amenities, and how the layout affects your experience getting around the sprawling Beaches Turks property. For families considering a room upgrade or debating which village to request when booking, this is invaluable, real-world insight you won’t find in a brochure.
Of course, a Beaches resort is about a lot more than just the rooms. Steve covers the overall Beaches Turks & Caicos experience for families — the included water sports and scuba diving, the expansive waterpark, the Sesame Street character meet-and-greets that the kids absolutely love, and the variety of dining options included in the all-inclusive rate. He also talks about the beach itself, which is the crown jewel of any Turks and Caicos vacation, and whether your village placement affects how easily you can access that gorgeous Grace Bay water.
Steve wraps up with his honest rating of Treasure Beach and whether he’d recommend it for families, honeymooners, or couples looking for a luxury all-inclusive escape. Beaches Turks & Caicos is already one of the most popular resorts we book at Pixie Vacations, and this new village adds another exciting option to an already impressive property. His take? Listen to the full episode for the verdict — but spoiler alert, Grace Bay Beach alone is worth the trip.

Hi and welcome to Mouse Chat. I'm Steve. No, come on. Hi and welcome to Mouse Chat. I'm Lisa and joining me. I've got the full gang. I've got Debbie, Caitlin, Sharpie and Steve. Hey everybody. Howdy. Hi friends. Oh, we lost Debbie. Debbie's on mute. Oh, I'm out. I'm here with you. I'm like, she's usually right in sync. She must be muted. It looks so good. here. Look, we're all here. And then just for a minute, we all just got back from somewhere and we're all leaving to go somewhere else. Yeah. So I went, I was in Nashville, you were in
Turks. Yeah. And Caitlin was on the newest Disney ship. Yeah, we're going to talk about that. Well, another show. Well, yeah. We went so much to talk about. So where are we going with this today, Steve? I wanted to do Turks and Caicos because I just got back. And you're super excited. It was awesome. All right. So we're going to talk about beaches, Turks and Caicos. Yeah. And they've done a new expansion and Steve. You got to check it out. So I think we've all been before except we got to get Sharpie there.
So eventually we got to get Sharpie there. But in the past. Mouse chat goes to Turks. Yeah. In the past. Oh, so if you like Disney, but you like the Caribbean and you want to try something new, and you want to go to a nice resort that has pretty much everything and it's all inclusive. And what I mean all inclusive, it doesn't mean like some things are included. It means like 99% of everything is pretty much included. Are you suggesting that all the things are included? Yes.
What about the drinks? Included. What about your snacks? Included. All of them? Yeah. What about do I have to tip like everyone that I come across? You don't have to tip anybody. Did I try to upcharge you for no restaurants? No. So it's not like, see this is what happens. Sometimes you get on a cruise line and you think you're done paying for everything. And then as soon as you get on there, they're like literally as you're trying to get on the elevator, they're trying to sell you a drink package.
And then the guy gets in the elevator with you to still try to sell it to you. That was my last cruise. So if I want to drink by the fool. Yes. And if you don't like it, you just get another one. It's so that's the thing. So the first thing is that it's all so. All right, so it's in Turks and Caicos. And if you don't know where that is, it's kind of close to the Bahamas. It's basically when I was looking at the map when I was flying. It's kind of like like where Key West would be, but out to the East.
So if it's chilly in Key West, it's chilly in Turks and Caicos. Okay, but you know, it's a ways out there. If from Atlanta, it's about two and a half hour flight. It is the same time zone as us. So Eastern time, so it doesn't change. If you're coming from Atlanta,
the airport's tiny transfers are included. It's about a 15 minute ride from the airport to beaches. And there's five villages. So basically, they've… I thought there were four. There were four. So basically, it started as one resort, which was the Caribbean resort, which is still there. And then there's the French resort and then there's the Italian village and then there's Key West and now there's new treasure beach. So it's huge. So you have tons of things to do.
There's 11 pools. There's from one end of the resort to the other when you walk on Grace Bay, which is the beach, which is awesome. It's almost a half mile. I did 20,000 steps in one day. Wow. This is most steps I've ever done. I've sucked higher. Oh my God. It's important to note that beaches is not an adult's only resort. Yes. It's for families. So sandals has two brands. Sandals is for couples. They have 17 resorts all over the Caribbean. Most of them are in Jamaica.
And then what happened is people went to sandals and they fell in love and then they have families. So then the families wanna go somewhere and they can't go to sandals. So they came out with beaches. So beaches is the same thing as sandals, except you can have kids. So you can bring families. There's only two beaches resorts currently. There's one in Jamaica. It's on the famous seven mile beach, which is in the grill. And then there's this one, which is in Turks and Caicos.
There's four more being built.
There's more? There's four more being built. But right now, there used to be three, but they closed one of them. One of them that was a property they were running in Ochoreos that was under the beach's brand. So that one closed about a year ago, right around the time of that hurricane. But yeah, we have four more coming. So I can get into that too. But Turks of Caco's is amazing. So that island, so first off, that island is high dollar, like high luxury, like not a cheap island to go to.
So the flight was full with everybody going on spring break. Not the spring break crowd that I used to when I was a kid. That's usually like bum and a ride to Daytona Beach. I mean, these kids, these kids are getting like private chefs and chartered yachts and all that you know. And was that they were like, oh yeah, we heard private chef for our thing. Oh, okay. Yeah. So they're the spring break cries a little different in Turks and Caicos. But that beach has resorts.
It's amazing. So anyways, they opened a new village. It just opened the first of the month. What was that March 1st? So Treasure Beach has 101 rooms, 11 room categories, which is not that many. And if you've, it's similar, if you've been to St. Vincent, which is their sandals resort, this was built from the ground up. So it's very similar to that resort, where it has that when you walk into the open air lobby, you can see all the way to the ocean across the swimming pool and all the reflecting
pools all the way out. Lovely. Yeah. when you first walk in, which is what they did in St. Vincent. And it just gives you this whole amazing view. And then your rooms are on five story buildings on both sides. And then there's Butler Villas, which are three story buildings, six of them, literally on the beach with their own pools. And I went in one of those. So I have a video of one of those. And then I went into one one of the concierge level rooms, which is their entry level room. And then I went into
another butler to bedroom rooms. So the price point is way higher than some of their other accommodations. But the good thing is if you're a cheap bastard, like me, your family show. You're a cheap bastard like me. Look, there's a way to do it. You go to the French village or you go to the Caribbean village. Now you have to know what you're booking because now they just redid the French village rooms. So they look really nice. I mean, they literally
just did them. I toured them in October and then they made me tour them again. So I tore it. You saw they look the same, but they just redid them. They did not redo the bathrooms, but they redid they redid those earlier, but they redid everything else in the room. So they look really nice. And that's your entry level price point. Now it's not on the beach. It's back in the woods. It's next to the water part because this place has an entire water park as part of it
as well. So those are your kind of entry-level rooms which are nice. And then it's not like another resort where you get a wristband and then you can only go to certain things because you're at a certain price. You know what I mean? You can't get the high end rings or whatever. When you're at the resort at a beach as everything's included. It doesn't matter if you're in the entry level room or if you're in a 10 person butler villa on the water. So you can go to the same
dining, you can go to any village, any pool. Well, you can't go to the concierge lounge if you're not concierge. Yeah. Well, that's so yes. Well, but yeah, I'm just saying that. But yeah, there's a little concierge lounge. And then there's a little, and then you have a butler if you're in the the butler thing. So, so you can do it more on the cheap. And if you pick the right, like now, so you said the beach from, I'm going to enter. So you said the beach front is a half mile.
It's almost a half mile from one end to the other of just the resort. So half mile from one end to the other. So how deep does the resort go inland? Oh, yeah, it goes pretty deep too. for this point. Yeah, it goes like the last building to the beach. How far is that walk? What do you, Caitlin? What do you guys? What do you think from like French? It's in your pace. It's a it's 12 15. Yeah, 10 10 to 15 minutes from like the French village. If you went from French all the way through Italian or all the way through
Caribbean to the beach. Yeah, 10 minutes 15 minutes, then then a 15 minute walk 15 to 20 minute walk max from the beach even from the most affordable rooms. Yeah. That's me. Yeah. I would say that's. For instance, that's the closer to the water park. I mean, honestly, yeah. My place would prefer to be at the water park. And there's a huge pool. I like to be closer to that area. The French village has a huge swimming pool. Like, like bigger than any Disney swimming pool,
like massive. Huge. Yeah, it's huge. It's got a swim up bar. It has volleyball. It has a little splash. I love this place. Yeah, there's a crepey back there. There's a mac and cheese truck. There's one on the water park has five or six slides, a lazy river. It has a surf simulating machine. It has little things for the kids. There's a hot dog place. You know, this get hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn burgers. They have a kid swim up bar where they can get, where do they mock tails?
Mock tails. Yeah, they've got a whole list of creative names for all these drinks. Yeah, so the kids can try one. And if they don't like it, then they just throw it on. They just take it. They just try another one. So it's so much better than paying like $14. So the beach is so happy that you're telling everyone to take a drink and discard it if they don't like it. And you can drink it 18 because Turks of Kekos is 18 to drink. So just FYI. So, but so the new treasure beach stunning,
but definitely higher price point. So there's a movie theater there, which anybody can use. See it's I think 32 to 34 people. It has a concession stand that's all included. So popcorn, soda, candy, they have like soft little blankets little bin when you first walk in and a basket. If you want to blanket, they have like the theater seating, you know, with a little lay flat things in the front. Nice big screen. They're running like two or three movies a day. What were they showing? I don't know. I just asked him that.
I don't. It's not anything new. It's like whatever DVD, I think they're, you know, from some guy's collection, you know, so it's like whatever random thing. So they're kid movies, but yes, And then the pool is ridiculous. It's like the nicest pool. It's got every little thing you can think. So it's got zero entry. It's got a kid splash area. It's got a kid little water slide section. It's got jacuzzis that are kind of integrated into it. It's got little bridges that go over.
It's got little areas that are like four inches deep where you can walk from one side to the other across in the water. It has an infinity edge at the very end of it by the beach. So you can be in that section and two hot tubs on each end there. It has a swim up bar with all kinds of seating. And then this one has recessed tables. So it has these little like booths that are in the water, like three of them with tables. So you can sit in the water and then the table is above the water next to the swim up
bar. It has a butch is. So butch is is a steak. That is. So Sandals has a stake house called, which is which is named after the guy who founded Sandals. Now I can't think it was like, what's the story? What's the story? So butch Stuhr, who we met many times, that's a whole nother story. If I had any way. Yeah, so butch Stuhr, we used to go to these events. So anyways, we can't invite it to all these cool events. We got like a check at some event that was like as big
as a, you know, one of those giant checks. Oh yeah, we did. I don't even know where that is. They didn't let us do it. Maybe that's why. Maybe that's why we don't still have that giant check. So it is. It was a dry erase and they used it for the next promo thing. So anyways, but yeah, so we met but years ago, God, we've been doing this for a long time. So anyways, he started sandals. So they named a steak restaurant after him. And it's your traditional really good steak restaurant.
So like wedge salad, a full a lobster tail, went like baked potato, all that kind of stuff. So now they have it at beaches. And not only do they have, oh my God. So I had, of course I had the lobster. He's like beside himself with excitement. He's like, So the service is really good. Like their service was good, But their service, they knew that for the price point, they had to step it up and they really stepped it up. Like the accommodations and the pool, like every family that was there was happy.
Like I was watching all and it was packed with kids. Because I usually go like September, not during spring break. And you're like, oh, not a lot of kids. Loads of families with little kids. 85% occupancy. So and all of them are happy. I didn't see any like really angry like, oh, or complaining people at all. And it's high dollar. So I had the lobster and the filet and the server was fantastic. And then I had banana foster. They also had a crimper lay that everybody said it was really good.
Um, I'll have a wedge salad. It's butches thing. So of course it has lobster on the wedge salad. Ooh, that sounds good. That's fancy. It had lobster and a bunch of other little stuff. Kind of like something you get at the brown derby if you ever got to go, but anyways, but with lobster. So then, and they have breakfast at butches, which does not require a reservation. And I had a lobster, omelet. And then I had one of those. What is it? The avocado front and toasted.
Yeah, avocado. Avocado to yes, one of those with salmon a bunch of other stuff on it. They call it butter toast or something. I don't know. I was like, bring me something you like and then she brought me that and I was like, oh my, it was so good. So anyways, so butches is there, which has indoor and outdoor settings and has a martini bar kind of hidden in the back of it. And then next to butches is a food hall. So they have this new food haul concept. It's called Pinta, which according to the internet, maybe is a nod to Christopher
Columbus and the three ships that came over in 1482, something like that. I only know this, I only know this because I had to memorize it for the video I just made. I think it's something like that. 1492? I don't know. It's 14 something with a two. I'm sure there's a song I was supposed I was supposed to remember from a kid, from being a kid that rhymes. And 1492 is out of a sale, the ocean. Oh, see, she's not in 1482. What? That rhymes too? 1442 anything.
See, they all rhymes. That's awful. Yeah, so that doesn't help. I guess, yeah. But anyways, one of those ships was the pinta. And it kind of has a… What are the other ones just, you know, the Santa Maria and the pinta Santa Maria and the… We have an agent with this name. Lucy. We do have a Lucy now. Let's go ahead. No, I don't ever get 1492. It is at 1492 Sharpie. The pinto the Santa Maria and the I do it. The pinto the Nina the Santa Maria. I say the Nina the pinto and the Santa Maria. There we go. Well,
now I don't know what I say. So anyway, it's called pinto. So I thought before I went food hall, walk in, go to each little booth, get your stuff, go to the pool. Awesome. Not that at all, but it's even better because I have a secret. I have the secret that nobody knows. Nobody knows this. Nobody knows this except you listening to the show and a few people. So when you walk in, you sit. So there's no taking the food back to the pool unless you know this trick.
So you sit down, they give you a menu. There are four different food options like egg nithadis. Da da da da. Ethnicity zos. There are four of those. So there's Mexican, Caribbean, Italian, and Asian. And the food is fantastic. Like really, really good. And it's quick. This is my other thing, usually, with like island time. Oh, it's island time. Your food could be here in the next hour. No, it's fast and it's really, really good. So like all kinds of tacos that are fantastic, street corn, that's like really good.
What did I have? Oh, they have a Jamaican jerk platter where you get chicken. sausage, pork, like real Jamaican jerk chicken. And if you don't want it hot, they'll put the stuff off the side or they'll put the real hot stuff on it. So all kinds of calamari and shrimp with the Italian stuff. So anything you can imagine. And then they've got a drink menu and they're super quick and super friendly and you can eat inside or outside. And it's nicely air conditioned inside. So but if you want to eat it, the pool. So off to
the side is a little window. And you can order it that window. That window has zero markings. It's just a window that's closed. And it looks just like a window. So you have to know there's as many windows as well. But there's no sign and there's no person and there's no little counter. It's just a closed window that you would never know is an ordering window. But if you go up to that window, you can order from the chef, whatever you want. And I'm like, do you have to come back and get it or they let you know?
And they go, no, they can make it in like two to three minutes. So in two to three minutes, you can get all your food from that window and then take it to your lounge chairs or your cabana at the Butler's safe for you or whatever. But of course, nobody was using that window because nobody has any idea and there's no signs or no nothing. But that's how you do it. We're on that energy. have to breathe. You can breathe. Take a breath. So it's a family resort. It's a family
resort. It's all inclusive. What if the kids want to go off and do their own thing? The parents want to go off and do their thing. Like, can that happen? Yeah. Kids club, team club. Yeah. Well, that turns go to the spa. They have, yeah, they haven't, uh, autistic friendly or certified kids club. So then you can have a buddy so that you can actually have someone with your kid as well. If you need that, then they have regular kids program. And they have teen programming. They have teen clubs with like x boxes and all of that as well.
And then they can go on excursions. So when I say everything's included scuba diving, if you're certified, it's included pickleball. They have that now. That's included. I don't know if they have golf at that resort. Usually if they have golf golf is included, They have water sports, so they have snorkeling. In addition to scuba diving, they have glass bottom boat tours that are included. They have all the kayaks and what are they? Bobi cats, when surfing.
Those are fun. They actually have power boats, I think, with the little tubes. I can't remember, because usually they don't. Oh, with like the floating banana thing. Yeah, but usually some of those are rented by the beach people and some of them don't. So I don't know on the, I don't know on the, on the actually motorized water sports. Cause usually those are not something they have. So I, I have to check on that, but they pretty much have everything.
And scuba diving is expensive. Like scuba diving is crazy expensive. And to have that included. And if you get a room with a butler, then the butler can go ahead and get you a cabana or they can get you chairs at the, at the beach or they can get you chairs at the pool. So you don't have to reserve those in the morning. And if you have like a birthday or something going on, they can decorate the cabana for you and come by for lunch and get you guys a lunch order.
They pick you up and take you to dining. If you're not certified though for scuba. Oh, yeah. I'm certified. That just costs. Yeah. So you can take the class. They have a pool there. That's just for learning how to do scuba diving. And they have an intro class. And then they can take you out on your first dive. They did that when I was in at sandals in Exuma. And I did not take the class, but I watched the class. There's a lot more that I thought of that I didn't realize
when you that you have to learn. Because you think, oh, you just put the thing in your mouth and you go down, but not not so. There's a lot more to learn. But you take the little class that they teach you and then you can go on a dive. And then write off of that beach, which is stunning. Like it's a really wide beach and it's nice and shallow. And the water temperature is great. And it's super cool. It's got the crystal clear blue greenish water. But if you go a little bit to the left,
as soon as you walk out, so from Treasure Beach, and you go off resort, because it's a public beach. And it runs multiple resorts on that beach. But if you go out and then you take a left, there's a good snorkeling spot there. So you can get some snorkeling gear just from the resort and then go out there. people see turtles and all kinds of stuff out there all the time.
I might have missed this but what room or a village did you stay in? I stayed in Key West which is the other end. So, the fake oven. Yes, so I had Key West. I was as far away. I was in the nicest village, minus treasure beach because everyone stayed everywhere else that came. I'm going to disagree with you there. You think Key West is the nicest village? Well, I like Italian and Key West. No, I like Seaside. I'm all about that Seaside area. I love those.
Oh, you like the Seaside and the Caribbean village? Yeah. They redid those. They redid those so they're nice. They are. So those are nice. Now, the rest of the Caribbean village is older, like the big buildings that East and West wing. but they're going to start in April, which is a month from now, and totally got the East Wing. So that's where they're starting. And they're going to totally redo that lobby, and then they're going to do the West Wing.
So they're going through each village one by one, and they brought over Derek, who was the general manager at Sandal's Duns River, who did an amazing job over there. And so they brought him over for everything. So he was just there for like his first week or two. When I met him a couple days ago, and he said they're gonna take two years and just totally redo the rest of the resort and bring it up to the new treasure beach. I mean, the treasure beach thing is amazing.
Yeah, pictures look awesome. It's, you have to see it. It doesn't look, it looks so much better. That's great. Yeah. Now are there over the water bungalows for families? There are, so there's, if you have like a multi-gen family, key West has villas that are up to four bedroom that are on the water that sleep up to 10. And then Treasure Beach has six of them. I went in one of them. I mean, they've got to be, I don't know what they are, price-wise, but they're probably, I don't,
well, you can look. to look. I would guess eight to 10,000 a night is what I would guess, but you can look.
So they're four bedroom. Yeah. So they're four bedroom. They have their own pool. They're three stories. They have like this huge, well, they have everything because they're pretty much everything you could think of in there. They have a nice little kitchen. They have seating areas. They have, you know, all they have a bunk bed area for some kids with, you know, USB connections and outlets and TVs bigger than anywhere you've been and bathrooms that are ridiculous.
I mean, they're the king of over the top amazing bathrooms that just are insane. Soaker tubs. Yeah. Soaking tubs. How do they have swim out, Billies? They do not have any swim outs, which is interesting because sandals have loads of snow. That's true, yeah. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. The danger of style of room. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Water park is really nice. Yeah, tons of stuff there. I mean, they call it. I ate that food. The food is amazing.
The food is so good. The food. I ate it that I could eat it that pinned a thing over and over again. The food court thing. The food hall. There's so many good options and every one of them was like the next level of food. It's not. It's not even the breakfast was good because usually breakfast is like a buffet and it's like eggs and toast and bacon. It's the same old stuff. And here it's like lobster omelets and you know, it's like and they still have other normal stuff, but they have a really good creative
very unique things that you would never find. It's like high end without the the snobbery. I guess. What I mean, it's not like, it's not like you have to feel like you have to be dressed up and whatever. And everyone's nights in polite, but it's not over the top. All right. So, I'll just give a luxury without being. Yes, Snooty. Thank you. All right. So I just checked on the four bedroom, four bedroom reserve villa. And I just put in something way out there. I did three nights
that are in March of 2028. And they only have three of these left. They're sold out so far in advance. It's unbelievable. So I did three nights, three nights with six people. I just put that in. 25,000. Three nights for 25,000. Yeah. So eight to nine thousand and a half years in advance. Yeah. I mean, the thing, like even your normal, like I went in the regular concierge rooms, some of those are sold out a year in advance. Um, and then the Butler two bedroom
that I went in was, is nice. Oh, the other thing is is they have room service in all. So normally room service only comes with a Butler level room. So they have luxury, which is your entry level room, concierge or club level, which is your middle level room. And then they have Butler, which is your high category room. I do want to point out real quick that there is $150 instant credit as the grand opening offer. There you go. You get $150 off. You get $150 off your $25,000 off your 10 grand tonight.
But the Butler level rooms are the ones that usually come with room service, but in treasure beach every category, concierge or club level also comes with room service. So yeah, it's, it's about as good as you get for a family vacation if, and they're not all 10 grand a night. So you can spend, spend a lot less. That's the, that's the top of the top. So if you want to do four nights, and Lisa's looking it up, we're going to look at that. At least expensive section.
Look up a four year. Look up a family of, let's just say a family of four. I have Lisa type it up. So like four nights and maybe like a September timeframe and like French village or Caribbean. Now you have to understand, well, French village was just redone. So it's nicer, but some of the rooms in the Caribbean villager needs a might need a little TLC. Yeah, just pick just doing late September or a week. Yeah, that'll work for like a family of four.
I did a video while I was there on saving pool chairs in the whole documentary series on how hard it is to save full chairs at other resorts. But here it's interesting, you can pretty much get a full chair anywhere. Yeah, Lonnie is the whole, the whole driving force behind that video. But here they have 11 swimming pools. So you can easily get a full chair somewhere. Even, yes, Lisa. Yes. Yes. Entry level seven nights would be an acrybian deluxe double room. This would be four
guests to adults two children. This would be 7800 or seven nights. So it's 280 per person per night.
Yeah. So it's just over it's like 1100 a night with all your food and then of course your room for a family of four. Yeah. And so you get transfers to and from the airport, you get everything food, entertainment, all the kind of on resort excursions that are part of the resort. And there's all kinds of entertainment going on. Oh, they have a street party. I've been so many times. I didn't even know there was a street party. I feel bad. The street party was awesome. So it's outside the Caribbean village. It's
on the street. I guess that's part of the, it's in the name. So they have all the vendors set up like from Turks and Caicos. And that's all lit up really cool. And it's nice because that's at nighttime. So the temperatures great. And they're all selling all kinds of shells and shirts and all kinds of stuff. And then they have a they have a DJ and they have entertainment and then they're partnered with Sesame Street. So you get all the Sesame Street stuff going on.
And then Turks and Caicariffs has a brewery, one brewery on the entire island. And they bring their truck with all the different taps. And you can try all the different beers. And like you're you're talking like a full beer as many as you want. Cause everything's included, like even that stuff. Not the t-shirts, but yes. I'm gonna point this out as well. You're that same seven nights, September of 2028, two kids and two adults. If you want Butler service at all,
your starting point is gonna be $22,000.
And then I mean, it goes to 30. it goes all the way up to the four bedroom, which is 47,000. And that's off season. Yeah, that's what Treasure Beach. Treasure Beach would be 47,000. Yeah, for that private little villa. Well, the thing is, if you invite more friends, this is only four people. Yeah, it sleeps 10. Right, so you don't need all that. If I change it to 10 people. Yeah. Let's just see what it does to that. But anyway. So yes, you can go anywhere for a week from 7,000 to whatever you want to spend basically.
Sign me up. There you go. Go. So I think that I cover everything. We talked about service. I talked about Derek coming over. We talked about their two year plan. Oh, so we got four new beaches coming. So there's another one in Jamaica, which is called Runaway Bay, which I think is over by done's river. I think it's next to Duns River, which is the Sandals Resort. There's the one in Exuma, which used to be a Sandals, which I have been to right before closed, which there is
nothing on that island. Yes, Lisa. Okay. I do want to say something. So I changed it to six adults and four children. So you've got 10 people, which is the maximum occupancy. And what we're at 47 a second ago. Yes. It's 49. So yeah, the children are cheap. Right. But I went from two adults to kids to six adults for kids. And it goes up by $2,000. So it's all about maybe their food costs. And so it's the unit that you're actually paying for. Why not maximize it?
Yeah. So if you should have a lot of kids. And just your reminder, winter's in the North can be brutal. So, cure stay for next January. Yeah. Yeah. When you go down there, it's so nice. This time of years was great because it was windy and it wasn't hot. I mean, it was like, I don't know, 70s, 80s, but it was really nice breeze. And I walked a lot because I had to go back and forth and back and forth the film, things over and over again. So, yeah, we had a suggestion.
Yes. All right. So if you did 10 adults, which would maximize things as far as value and it's $50,200. Or are we good gravy? Yeah, but that you're picking the most expensive room Lisa. Right. But I'm saying if you're going to get one of these rooms, maximize it because for a party of four, it was 47,000 and for a party of 10, it's 50,000. Yeah, that's well, yes, you would That's what it's saying. Yeah, you don't pick the 10 bedroom room for people.
No, no, you don't. Or 10, or a bedroom room that sleeps 10. Anyways. And that was for a week, right? Yes. The nice thing about the new treasure village, though, is even if you are not staying in one of those rooms, if you're staying in, you know, even the French village or the Caribbean village, one of the lower cost rooms, You, it's still adding so much value to the resort for you to have access to more pools, more food options. Um, that's still just like steps away. Yeah. I would just stay.
It's so cool. Yeah. I would stay either Italian. They just read did those rooms and the Italian village too. The ones that we like. They're nice. They look great. Yeah, they look really nice. Yeah, those are redone and I think they finished them all. But yeah, you can stay at any of the villages and then you just walk over to any of them. But yeah, I would camp out at Treasure Beach. It's pretty spectacular. So there you go. I don't, if you can tell I don't like it.
I'm ready to go for a spring break now. I'm like, what are we doing? We should go. Well, if we go, the girls insist that we go during a hurricane because they had so much much fun. I don't know why that was fun for them, but it was exciting. I thought I saw a toaster at our cat when we were there. Did you? It took a picture. I don't know. I like how you say our cat. The cat we saw last time. I thought I saw a toaster. But I'll send you a picture. Yeah. My famous last words, you know, because you never know knock on wood.
What's going to happen when someone gets on a plane. And so love you, be safe, have fun, get lots of content. And my last words to him bring home a stray. I almost went to the thing, but I had to do the room tours and I couldn't go because I had an appointment to go to, it's called cake pot or pot cake. Either way, it's the worst name for a animal rescue. If there must be a read, there's obviously a Turks and Caicos reason that that's what it's called. But there's an animal rescue. It's either pot cake or cake pot. Anyways,
It's about a 10 minute cab ride from beaches and every day except Sunday at 10 a.m. you can take the puppies. It's not an excursion and it's first come first serve but you can take the puppies for a walk so they get out and get exercise on the beach. So I was going to go on Saturday but then I had to do all the room tours on Saturday. So it's from 10 a.m. They say if you really want to, because you don't ever know how many puppies they're going to have and if people, so they say to get there at nine,
if you really, really want to do it. And then it goes till 1230. You have to have them back by 1230. And then they clean the canals and feed them. And then from like, I don't know, two, 30 or something for a couple hours, you can just play with them at the kennel or help out the kennel. And then the other thing you can do that I signed up for, they didn't have one is if you're flying, they need people to bring them back to families. So you give them all the flight information and everything.
And then if you're willing to take a puppy or a larger dog that has to be created and then they get you all the information and then they meet you with the dog at your resort and then they take care of the payment and then you transport it back to your home airport And then you beat the people that adopted it at the airport, and then they get the puppy. I love that. So you can sign up for either of them. Well, you can't sign up for that. You have to do the, the walking, you have to get there in person.
The taking back you sign up. It's a really quick form. You fill it on online. I think a lot of the domestic flights don't allow them anymore. As they said, a lot of most of these puppies are going on private flights. A lot of people take private lanes to trucks and kakos. So I think most of them are coming back that way. But so when we go with the kids, we could do it. We could do the walk, but they can't fall in love with one. Like pizza crust. And bring it home because we have a dog that would not work out well.
That's the rub. But we know. We are aware. But I even made a little, I brought a harness for him and everything, and I got a GoPro to put on it and the whole thing. But then, so next time we do it. So I have all the stuff so I could film it, but I had too many other things to film. So next time. So lots of stuff going on in Turks and Caicos. Ready? Rapid up. It's also like fun. It's Chris. I've called you Chris. Wow, Sharpie. Where did that come from?
I don't know. I'm like, call you. I'm called me Chris and I don't know a decade. A decade. Sharpie, you've got to go. You got to go. It's on my list. I know those lists, they just keep getting longer. That'll mean about it. Oh, okay. So we're going to wrap up the show. I'd like, oh my gosh. He just showed me a picture of a cat. Is it locally pizza or poster? I toaster. Maybe. I mean, it's hard to tell. I do have pictures of toaster so we can compare.
But that would be so nice if it was okay. Maybe. All right, replons show. All right, so we're going to wrap up the show. I'd like to thank Pixie Vacations for sponsoring the podcast. Frequently Asked Questions
Is Beaches Turks & Caicos truly all-inclusive?
Yes — Beaches Turks & Caicos is one of the most comprehensive all-inclusives in the Caribbean. Food at every restaurant, all drinks (including premium liquor), tips, kids clubs, water sports including scuba, land sports, and the waterpark are all included. There are no restaurant upcharges and no tipping — staff are not permitted to accept tips. Unlike a cruise where you're constantly up-sold, at Beaches you pay once and stop worrying about your wallet.
What is new at Beaches Turks & Caicos Treasure Beach Village?
Treasure Beach is the newest village expansion at Beaches Turks & Caicos. It adds brand new rooms, additional dining venues, and updated pool and beach spaces. Steve stayed there on its opening and walks through the room types, the new restaurants, and which room categories are worth the upgrade in this episode.
Is Beaches Turks & Caicos worth the money?
For families, yes — especially when you factor in what's included. When you compare the all-in cost per person (flights, room, all meals, all drinks, all activities, all kids clubs, scuba) to a non-all-inclusive Caribbean resort or even a Disney cruise after drink packages and gratuities, Beaches is often the better value for families of four or more. Pixie Vacations regularly books families at Beaches and we can share real pricing comparisons.
Is Beaches Turks & Caicos kid friendly?
Beaches is one of the most kid-friendly all-inclusives in the Caribbean. Kids clubs are complimentary and grouped by age (infants through teens), the Pirates Island Waterpark is included, there are Sesame Street character experiences, and water sports lessons are all free. Scuba diving certification is even included for eligible teens and adults.
Do you tip at Beaches Turks & Caicos?
No — tipping is not permitted at Beaches or Sandals resorts. Gratuities are included in your all-inclusive rate. The only staff you can tip are butlers (on butler-level room categories) and spa therapists. This is one of the biggest relief points for guests coming from cruises where tipping is constant.
