2019 Disney World Vacation Packages

Tips for how to plan your first Disney World Vacation

Disney World Vacation Planning Tips

Planning your first trip to Walt Disney World can be daunting.  Now with Star Wars Land (Galaxy’s Edge) opening in the Fall of 2019 at Walt Disney World.  Onsite Disney World Hotels we predict will book up quickly for 2019 Fall Disney vacations.

This weeks Disney World Podcast is dedicated to planning a Disney Vacation.

Disney Vacation Planning Tip:  Disney’s Coronado Sprigs with the updated rooms, new tower, and business services like a convention center, bar, gym and a very nice pool area, is very close to a Disney World deluxe resort at a Disney moderate price.

Book Your Disney World Vacation ASAP

There are a great deal of things to consider when booking a Disney World vacation.  Our top tips is book your Disney vacation early.  With room availability being limited and so many people traveling to Disney World, the sooner you book, the sooner you can start planning your itinerary.  It’s important to book your Disney Fastpasses at 60 days before travel and dining reservations for Walt Disney World need to be booking 180 days before travel.  Dining and Fastpasses book up quickly and without a reservation at one of the Disney World onsite hotels you can’t start booking these.  Disney also does not come out with last minute travel deals.  Traditionally Disney World offers vacation packages early and if there is not a vacation package that fits your date, you should still book now and have your Authorized Disney Vacation Planner move your booking to the better offer if one comes out later.  We recommend Pixie Vacations for booking your Disney World Vacation.  Pixie has the latest offers and will take care of everything for you.

Disney World is not last minute travel friendly.  Disney World does not offer last minute blow out sales.  So booking the father out you can is the best advice.

Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary is in 2021.  This, in addition to Galaxies Edge, the Star Wars Hotel, and everything else is going to make Walt Disney World even more popular.

Book Disney Dining at 180 days

Make your Dining reservations at 180 days out.  Between September and January you need to book Dining first thing in the morning at 180 days before travel to get the Disney restaurants you want.

Skip the Disney Park Hopper Ticket option

If this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, we recommend getting the most out of each park and not spending your time traveling from park to park.  If you are staying for a longer stay at Disney World you can get the Park Hopper.  The Disney Park Hopper is great for doing Extra Magic Hours and then moving to another Disney park later in the day.  The Disney park hopper ticket also helps with dining in one park and playing in another park.  But again their is so much to do on your first trip that you don’t need to park hop.
