Disney Disney Tips for a slower paced Family Vacation

Walt Disney World can be a vacation of lines and long wait times, but there are also ways to “Do Disney” at a slower pace and relax.
On this weeks Mouse Chat show we cover the hidden Disney gems that you should check out on your next vacation.

1. The Wine Down at EPCOT – This is an after hours every for about $35 per person

2. Relax at the lobby at Wilderness Lodge. An incredible way to take a break or cap off an amazing day at Walt Disney World. Sit by the fireplace and just enjoy a drink and people watch. Another get place is Disney’s Grand Floridian resort. The lobby at the Grand Floridian is perfect to relax and has some hidden nooks on the second floor to relax and even some outside balconies. If you are looking for a place to relax, take a break, maybe even take a nap or work on your PC? Go to the Contemporary resort to the second floor.

3 Magic Kingdom – Tom Sawyers Island is a nice place to get away from the crowds and also Gaston’s Tavern is a small dark place to sit and relax and it’s usually not very crowded.

4. EPCOT – There are some nice places to get away at EPCOT like the gardens in Canada or there is a little secret room in Morocco.

  1. How could you forget the Fiesta tour in Mexico as a ride to relax on? Love that ride- especially when it’s super hot and you need an air conditioning fix. 🙂
