Mouse Chat Disney podcast –

2012 bring a great deal in the way of new happenings for Disney Destinations. We traveled on the Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship just a few months ago. Cars Land and so much more opened at Disneyland – Disney’s California Adventure Park just a few weeks back. Walt Disney World opened a new resort, The Art of Animation Resort. Disney opened their first resort in Hawaii, Aulani and Internationally Disneyland Park celebrated 20 years to rave reviews and several new shows like Disney Dreams. And don’t forget a brand new park in Singapore is being built right now.

As Disney Fans we find ourselves always looking forward to what is next. It’s been an amazing 2012 for Disney fans that love to experience the Disney Parks, Resorts and Disney Cruise Line and there is still more to come in 2012.

Disney World is close to completion of the main phase of Fantasyland. The Disney Fantasyland expansion dates have been released by Disney and they are for the Holiday season later this year. On our show this week we discuss what is already open at Fantasyland and what is targeted to open later this year.

The two Dumbo’s with the new interactive que line are open as well as KC JR., a water play area. The entire Storybook Circus section of the new Fantasyland where Toon Town once lived is complete. You can visit the new train station and the Great Goofini Roller Coaster here too.

So when will Be Our Guest, the new restaurant open and the princess meet and greets along with Ariel’s Underwater Journey. Disney’s Fantasyland Expansion opening dates for these is for the Holidays in 2012.

The final phase of the new Fantasyland is the seven dwarfs mine train coaster. The target date for that is late 2013.

So join us this week as we discuss our thoughts as to what will open and when, taking into account for a very wet year in Orlando, delays, and interviews with cast members. Do you think the new Fantasyland be open for late Fall 2012? In six months we will all find out.
