Disney World now has a purple magicband
People are going gaga over the purple magicband and it’s now available as part of your Disney Vacation Package. Pink was the most popular magicband. Will purple overtake it?
World Of Color Show Dessert Party
Disneyland is offering a World of Color dessert party. It is $79.00 a person for the selection of desserts. If this is not your speed, there is also a dinner World of Color offering that we think is a better value, especially the lunch option. You can also just get a World of Color Fastpass first thing in the morning and then head to World of Color early to get your spot.
Zootopia opened and Sharpie says go see it.
Zootopia broke Frozens 67.4 M opening weekend record. Zootopia brought in 233 M Globally, 73.7 M US for it’s opening weekend. The characters are coming to the Walt Disney World parks. Sharpie says it’s a good movie worth seeing, but no need to see it in 3D.

I’m also super excited they changed Big Thunder Mountain refurb date, this trip will be my 6 year olds first time on the ride!
Wow Terri, I am sure the first Big Mountain experience is going to be magical. I think I need a count down to Walt Disney World too. I really can’t wait to get down there again too.

Just wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to you all for the great shows you always put on. It is entertaining, informative and never ever boring. Your lively discussions always puts a smile on my face and I always look forward to another fresh show. In between, my ipod is loaded with all the past shows (and current ones of course) which I replay and always learn something new or hear something I missed the first time. I consider you all close friends and you always put a smile on my face. Looking forward to someday meeting you all. Will be at Disney World Pop Century this coming April 7th thru the 18th and yes, I made it in time and got the Purple Magic Bands. They arrived today. I just received my purple Magic Band in the mail today! I have to say I am loving it! There’s something very sad about going to Disney and not being able to sport your favorite color Magic Band. I’m hoping in the future they’ll make a sweat proof band! We have found the bands to be incredibly convenient for purchases, photos, fast passes, and hotel keys. It is so nice for the entire family to have access to our room key, and I don’t have to worry about losing track of all of my credit cards, photo tickets, and keys. I can’t imagine doing Disney any other way these days.

Just heard the segment on Blizzard Beach and I was yelling at my computer to you all! Ice Gator is the mascot of Blizzard Beach and he is the one who flew off Summit Plummet and into the Beach Haus merchandise location. I used to work at the Beach Haus 🙂 But I think Olaf is the PERFECT mascot for the park!

Your podcast is our favorite and although my husband and I usually listen to it separately, we refer to the show and comments you made like we know you all personally. Other family members wonder about these other crazy Disney friends we quote 🙂 Speaking of crazy, we will one of the many families there the week after Easter. We’ve been there that week before since we’re both educators and our options are limited so we just plan to do what we can and love knowing we have fastpasses for our must dos. We’re grateful for Lauren…this is the second trip she has helped us plan to our favorite place 🙂
Hey everyone! Found the podcast a while ago in preparation for my family trip to Disneyworld at the end of April! Just ordered my purple magic band, and I’m anxiously awaiting its arrival. Hope it’s not passe by the time I get there ? Your podcast will be in my permanent rotation even after we return because I love the dynamic of everyone on the show, and you make the listener feel like part of the podcast. My new game is to see if I make the same pun in my head before Sharpie says it out loud. Keep up the good work!

The March 2016 Update was my 1st time hearing your podcast! Very insightful and as a Disney lover who lives in Missouri but makes a trip down to WDW at least once a year, it’s refreshing to hear news about the parks and movies! My fiancé and I are HUGE Disney fans (we’ll be encorporating Disney in our wedding!) and are heading to Disneyland for the first time this summer. I just recently found your podcast and have been listening religiously in addition to downloading some old episodes about Disneyland.
