Hello all,
thank you so much for answering these questions, I wouldn’t think of getting the annual pass at the beginning at my vacation now I can save money on all the trinkets we plan on buying!!
You guys and ladies are amazing and I’m always looking forward to hearing new podcasts!
Hi Kristina,
Yep 10% off on goodies goes a long way on a Disney vacation.
Also the Tables in Wonderland card can save you 20% on table service dining and might be something to look into getting.
Thanks for listening to Mouse Chat.
Steve
HI! I just wanted to say that I am new to the world of podcast but I’ve been hooked since finding you guys a few months ago! I love the back and fourth banter, and the fact that there are difference of opinions and we get to hear all perspectives on a topic. I love the Q&A podcasts and I’ve actually learned a lot from them. I am not new to traveling to Disney, my husband and I went for our 1 year wedding anniversary (2006) it was both of our first times. Like usual we tried to do it all in one trip (4 parks in 4 days) thinking we’d not be back for a long time (LMAO!) since then we’ve been back every year with the exception of ‘09,14 and ’15 (I’m so due right?!) My question is, I am a control freak and I think I’m the exception but I do love to plan all the nitty gritty details of my trip, however I’ve been toying with the idea of using a TA for our next trip (hopefully May 2017 – need to get the hubby on board). I’m just afraid that life has gotten a little hectic since our 2014 trip (we have two daughters 7 & 2) to really enjoy the planning stages. Also, my 7 year old has asked to help plan the next trip. Would using a TA take away my control of planning? Can I still “plan” while using a TA? One more question, can I start the booking processes on my own and then involve a TA if I wanted? Thank you so much and keep up the amazing work!
Thanks Laure for the kind words about our podcast.
Yeah we like the Mouse Chat listener Q&A podcasts too. It allows us to cover a wide variety of topics in one show and everyone learns something new hopefully.
As for your Disney World planning and booking with a travel agent question, yes you can still plan as much or as little of your Walt Disney World Vacation. Your Pixie Vacations travel agent is there to help you along the way with planning if you like and also there to find the best Disney vacation package for you. You would want to book with a Pixie at Pixie Vacations from the start. You can go to https://PixieVacations.com and select your Pixie or Mouse Chatter from the Agent drop down list on the quick quote form. In some cases they can be added to your Disney reservation if you have already booked your vacation but Disney only allows this if it’s within 30 days of the date you booked and I believe it must not be paid in full.
Have a great time at Disney World in May and thanks for listening.
Hi, thank you for your podcast. We enjoy it very much. We are planning a trip to Disney World for early next year and hope the crowds are not too bad. This will be our 5th trip to Disney World in several years. We will, of course, be enjoying the classic attractions but would love some tips for the moderately experienced Disney World traveler. Would like to experience some new things. We will have hopefully have some money to spend on ‘extras’ but it does take us two years to save up the money to get back to Disney and we would just like to make sure it is worth our time and the extra money. We are a family of four. Two parents and two ‘children’ ages 22 and 12. Thank you!!
Hi, Michele,
Enjoy your trip to Walt Disney World. There is so much new that just opened and that is opening in 2017 also, so you will have loads of new as well as classic Disney attractions to see on your Walt Disney World Vacation.
Have a great time,
Steve
Love your show!! I just discovered it recently and have thoroughly enjoyed listening.
My husband and I are planning a Disney trip this December. We’re trying to figure out what FASTPASSES we want for each park. 3 out of the 4 were easy. But we are really struggling with epcot’s tier system. We want all those tier 1 FASTPASSES!
Anyway. My question is. Which of those tier 1 options do you most recommend trying to get? At the moment we’re thinking of this plan: heading to test track as soon as the park opens. Getting a FP for soarin and then hopefully (maybe?) snagging a frozen FP as our 4th. Is it wishful thinking to think we can get frozen as our 4th? Would it be better to get a frozen FP and try for soarin as our 4th? We plan on going to Epcot twice so I’m hoping between both visits we can hit everything we want. Thanks for your help!
Hi, Sarah,
You read our minds. We are record a show on this exact topic (Epcot Fastpass Strategies) on Tuesday. Look for it online in about two weeks. Lauren and Chris both just went and did all the new attractions at EPCOT.
Also please fill out a quick quote form and Lauren, Sharpie, or Chris are happy to help you personally book and plan your Disney vacation. There is no charge and they will make sure you get the latest and best Disney World vacation package out there. You can get a Disney World vacation quote here: https://pixievacations.com/walt-disney-world-quote-request/ Be sure to pick the agent you want in the form drop down list.
Hope this helps and have a great vacation at Walt Disney World.
Steve
